Our Magical Quests
Oh, hey there! Apa khabar?
My name is Arni and I live in Kota Tinggi, Johor. I am 11 years old, and I love the feeling of the wind dancing through my hair and the way the sand tickles my toes.
I want to show you my kampung and community, and I've brought my whole family along to help! There's my little brother, Adli, who is always looking for tiny treasures in the sand; my big sister, Amirah, who is studying very hard to get her dream job; and my Mama and Abah, who know all the stories of the land and the sea.
Mama and Abah always tell me that when the sun shines on the coast, it doesn't just stay there — it shares its warmth with everyone! They showed me that the coolest part of our home is that the magic doesn't stay behind the big gates of the fancy castles. It sprinkles like fairy dust all over our neighbourhood!
Little footprints meet big adventures with the funnest activities where we splash, sketch, take on the stage, and so much more! We can hardly wait for these moments to come around, because each one helps us learn the coolest new things and discover just how brave and brilliant we can be.
Now, the big kids don't always have to fly to faraway lands to find their own adventures. Pak Cik and Mak Cik's son, Abang Haziq, went to this cool seaside school where he learned how to welcome the world with a warm smile. And now, he works at one of the big castles by the sea! He looks so grand in his uniform, and he gets to meet people from all over the world every single day.
Look at Pak Cik Musa and Mak Cik Salimah! They have a little stall where they wrap the yummiest nasi lemak in banana leaves. It used to be very quiet, but now, it's buzzing like a beehive!
And for me? I get to see everyone pitch in to turn our home into a place where dreams grow as tall as the pokok rhu. It really is an enchanted realm where everyone — from the shopkeepers to the students — learns, grows, and discovers our very own hidden superpowers!
